Residential Care Homes run on charitable basis:
1.1) 1944: Gayasingh Ashram Residential Care Home, Port Louis serving the elderly, orphans, the physically challenged, those abandoned by relatives and victims of domestic violence.
No. of Residents: 76 women (Elderly, single mothers, young mentally retarded girls, disabled abandoned by relatives)
1.2) 1995: J.Balgobeen Ashram Residential Care Home, St. Paul serving the elderly, physically challenged and those abandoned by relatives.
No. of Residents: 42 elderly men + 1 university student (boy transferred from Gayasingh Ashram, has already completed his studies and working in an accounting firm).
1.3) 2008: Foyer Trochetia, Pte aux Sables serving the severely disabled elderly persons and children jointly managed by the Arya Sabha and the Ministry of Social Security, National Solidarity and Reform Institutions.
No. of Residents: 48 (both men and women)
A new wing catering for 12 Children (after the closure of Foyer Namaste, a shelter for disabled children in distress) has been merged with the existing wards in November 2020 as all the children are now young adults who are over 25 years old.
1.4) 2009: Dr Chiranjiv Bharadwaj Ashram Residential Care Home, Belle Mare serving the elderly, the physically challenged and those abandoned by relatives.

1.5) 2009: Smt Foolbasseea Babooram Sewa Ashram Residential Care Home, Chemin Grenier serving the elderly, the physically challenged, those abandoned by relatives and victims of domestic violence.
No. of Residents: 70 women
1.6) 2016: Smt. L.P. Govindramen Ashram Residential Care Home, Trois Boutiques, Union Vale serving the elderly, physically challenged and those abandoned by relatives.
No. of Residents: 62 men
1.7) 2018: Shelter for Children at Gayasingh Ashram, Port Louis, referred by CDU
No. of residents: 16 Children ( Girls 4 -16 years)
The contribution of the Decentralised Cooperation Programme-European Union was a key component to the successful implementation of the Belle Mare and Chemin Grenier Residential Care Homes which was also co-funded by Arya Sabha Mauritius, well-wishers and donors.
