Post-secondary / Tertiary education
2006: Rishi Dayanand Institute (RDI), Pailles, a post-secondary institution, duly registered with the Tertiary Education Commission for capacity building in terms of trained social workers. More than 200 students have completed their degree and post degree courses run with close collaboration of Kurukshetra University, India as the awarding body. Most of them are working as education officers, civil service officers, journalists, and/or have been promoted in their job. Diploma courses in Vedic studies are being run under the supervision of University of Technology Mauritius (UTM) as awarding body since 2019.
